Every Push deserves a PULL: Posterior Chain Development

Improving Strength Imbalances from Head to Toe - Back To Front

By Coach Ernest Allen Founder Of Atlas Pro Training LLC

Posterior chain development is extremely important for athletic development and for the prevention of injuries. One of the main objectives for posterior development is to make sure there are no strength imbalances between the front which is the anterior the back which is the posterior during physical activity. One of the main issues with strength and balances may lead to incomplete training adaptations. The rule of thumb is to perform for every pushing movement you perform to pulling movements which is a 2 to 1 ratio of anterior and posterior strength development this is important due to the fact that we very rarely use a posterior muscle chain in everyday life.
